DreamClamor

DreamClamor is a blog devoted to excerpting chapters from Paul Gleason's forthcoming book, Heart Failure...A Love Story. The blog's ideal reader will try to make connections between the autobiographical prose, music essays, poems, and photographs in an attempt to make connections. The goal of the blog-novel project is to try to answer an eternal question: What's the relationship between suffering and enlightenment? Of course, an "answer" to this question doesn't exist. But the individual trained in empathy and introspection can come close to the answer, which, at any rate, is purely subjective and individualized.

The blog-novel's overarching structure will emerge in time.

I write for the individual.

I write from and for the subjective perspective.

I write for the passionate.

I write for the fearless.

I am a spiritual writer.

Any aesthetic pleasure that you receive from reading my words is unintended.

Or: I use the aesthetic in the service of the spiritual.
